Hello People! At the perceptive suggestion of T-BONE, I, in my Manly Might have decided to blog about the recent Orchestra performance in Lake Orion for String Festival.
The whole odessey began directly after school.... we (Adam and I) had to go straight from the best English class ever to the orchestra room, to participate in the orchestral extravaganza of moving Three basses and two cellos..... Yay
T-Bone and I were the passengers in Adam's Mom's car..... along with my viola, T-bone's cello, and two basses. It would be quite a long ride.
Basically, the experience at Lake Orion was generally *fine*. We performed for 4 judges and got decent scores. 2 out of 5 is not terrible.
The problem came when we went into the Sight Reading room. When we turned over the first piece, and it was a devilishly slow, impossible to tune bach suite, complete with solo.
It seemed, as we were playing it that it was impossible for the experience to get any worse. that, was, until we started the second piece. A fast paced piece in, yes, you guessed it, b minor.
Ah. gotta go.
Aleks out.

Greetings Internet Crusaders!
How are you!?!?!?!? I've missed you so much!
To buisness My good friend Skyre has recentlybeen bothering me to join an online game called Cybernations (http://www.cybernations.net/). In cybernations, you rule a nation and you must buy infrastructure, soldiers, etc. to make your country stronger, and you tax your citizens. I was never especially interested, but I attended the website just to shut skyre up.
Little did I expect that i would fall in love with this most wonderful game.

He would answer to Hi!
or to any loud cry
such as fry me, or fritter my wig
to what may you call him,
or what was his name
but especially thing-um-a-jig
For those who preferred a more forcible word,
he had Different names from these
His intimate friends called him candle ends
and his enemies, Toasted cheese.

Aha. Greetings, Internet Crusaders!
I think it is best that you are exposed to that truly scrumtralescent bit of Poetry from The immortal "Hunting of The snark", An almost completely nonsensical story, somewhere along the lines of Alice in Wonderland.
Since my whole blog cannot be just amazing quotes, I'll give you a blog, ad intirim.
I have been told, of late, That this coming thursday is thanksgiving. In relation to this, it has been stated that you are what you eat.
If this is true, then i am Human. A weak, frightened human.
But on a lighter note, we are getting the next five days off of school. I have every intention of spending the break writing poetry and drawing. Thank you for asking. I haven't much to say, on this fine morrow, but i will give you lots of awesome quotes....
"Acta est Fabula, Plaudite!"
In addition to it's genious, it is also rumored to be the final words of Emperor Octavian Ceaser (Augustus)

Random Poem!
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
Invictus

Hello Ladies and Germs!
I just flew in from Livonia, and man, my arms are tired!
Not funny? ok then. let's get down to buisness.
Guess what time it is!!!!!! It is time for the multianual Alek's favorite things episode!!!!!!!!!!
Lets get this thing rolling.
My current favorite word is Capricious.
Capricious means something is governed by sudden, impulsive, actions that are apparently completely unmotivated and generally eratic. Also, quite wonderfully, the "obsolete" meaning is fanciful, and witty. That is indeed quite magnificent.....
Yay! What is my favorite Shakespeare play, you ask?
Hmm.... let me think......
I would most certainly say that my favorite shakespeare play is definately Hamlet.
And don't think that it's just because of his magnificent "to be, or not to be" soliloquy, though it is amazing. I can also really identify with the fact that basically the whole play is deciding to kill someone....
Well, after that, it only seems fair to say my favorite book.
My current favorite book is "Group psychology and the analysis of the ego", by Sigmund Freud. It is truly fascinating, though many, if not most of his ideas have been outmoded.
My favorite movie is definately Hero, The artsy Chinese Martial Arts flick, in which the same story is told from many different points of view, each person's recolection represented by a different color.... Awesome.
Oh yea. guess my favorite hoody.... http://www.skeletonhoodie.com/
I suppose that's all i got. Aleks out.
Ah. my favorite quote- Flectere si nequeo, Acherenta movebo
Aha. Here you go. I almost forgot your Random link.

Hello, My Faithful readers. If you are reading for the first time, Then you are not faithful. Doesn't this relationship mean anything to you!?!?!? well? DOESN'T IT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Sorry about that. As i was saying, I know all about you, and i assumed, as is my narcissistic way, that you want to slowly but surely learn everything that there is to know about me. Well, Your journey begins here and now, so sit back relax, and don't plunder any norse villages.
Today, We will be talking about the one man i admire most-
Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill (Sir Winston Churchill)
Winston Churchill was a Brittish politician who most notably served as the Brittish Prime Minister During World war two. Winston churchill was also an officer in the Brittish army, a Historian, having written a Biography of his ancestor, John Churchill (The first Duke of Marlborough((NOT THE CIGARETTES))), among other historical works, He was also an artist, and and won the nobel prize in literature in 1953.
Winston churchill is not only magnificent for these reasons, but he is also a noted orator and was Completely full of it (by it, I mean good ideas and quotes)
Ok. I've run out of steam. I shall now leave you be...

Greetings Internet Crusaders! I'm back! In know you missed me, and I've missed you too. This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship...
Hmmm.... What should i talk about on this fine day?
Whats that you say? You want to read one of my poems? Ok.
Engulfing blackness
Blinding light
Chaos around us
The shouts of fight.
A streak of sun
A blossom grows
The journey begun
The purest rose
The battle rages
Contained within
Invisible cages
On stages of sin
A petal torn
Destruction abound
The use of a thorn
Not even a sound
Hearts rent
A helpless pall
So dies an innocent
So die we all
In persuit of a goal
The dearest fee
A rose, A soul
It was never meant to be
So long for now
