Engulfing blackness
Blinding light
Chaos around us
The shouts of fight.
A streak of sun
A blossom grows
The journey begun
The purest rose
The battle rages
Contained within
Invisible cages
On stages of sin
A petal torn
Destruction abound
The use of a thorn
Not even a sound
Hearts rent
A helpless pall
So dies an innocent
So die we all
In persuit of a goal
The dearest fee
A rose, A soul
It was never meant to be
